The scope of works covers all areas of the followings: - • Engineering review, procedure writing • Interface coordination & preparation • Electrical testing & Commissioning • Progress reporting • Troubleshooting • Start-up commissioning • Supervision of contractors or vendors • System acceptance dossier • Involved in the commissioning & hand-over activities for platforms E-11 and F-23 rejuvenation project. This included procedure writing, start-up planning, fault findings for fire & gas detection system, plant shutdown system and DCS monitoring.

The scope included gas turbine compressor package, turbine generator dual fuel system upgrading, compressed air system, electrical load shedding / motor controller system, electrical system / control system upgrading etc. Directly involved in engineering review, interface / coordination, preparation / planning, progress reporting, troubleshooting, start-up commissioning / supervision and as-built drawings. Based in PCSB Kerteh regional office, fully responsible for conducting studies and the execution of facilities modifications / upgrading projects within PM-9 field. This specific function part of the overall strategic planning providing support for offshore operations. Assigned as Project Engineer for offshore platform retrofit contracting package for Exxon-Mobil Malaysia. Involved in the execution of Exxon-Mobil offshore retrofit projects - Barat A (IBA) redevelopment project phase II and Tapis D redevelopment. The scope of responsibilities included:  • developed project execution strategy consolidating recommendations and findings jointly compiled by the construction team, design engineers and Exxon-Mobil. • prepared shutdown execution strategy emphasizing on careful planning to ensure zero interruption and minimum shortfalls during shutdown • achieved target to complete the replacement of carbon steel firewater pipeline and deluge system at IBA with duplex piping within desired timeframe • fully responsible for overall strategic planning including the overall start-up commissioning, hand over procedure, equipment sourcing, manpower resources, materials and compilation of technical dossier.

Assigned as E & I Senior Project Engineer for BASF Petronas Syngas Plant costruction project located in Gebeng, Kuantan. The E & I construction covers cabling system (above ground/under ground), low & high voltage switchgears, motor controls system, flare ignition system, overhead crane, tubing system, metering, fire & gas system, plant monitoring & control system, pumping system, electrical grounding, UPS, diesel generator etc. Fully responsible for : • construction site management • early site facilities preparations • workforce & construction planning • interface coordination with other discipline i.e piping and mechanical •  analyzed problems and implement corrective measures • systematic progress reporting on daily / weekly / monthly basis • site financial budget and cash flow controls • involved in the start-up commissioning and system handover dossier.

Managed electrical & instrumentation (E & I) installation and commissioning contract activities which consisted field control instrument, pneumatic system, shutdown system, CCTV, boiler system, heat recovery system, gas turbine compressor, metering, sampling system, water treatment system etc. Fully in charge of KLCC gas district cooling project  and upgrading of Exxon-Mobil refinery multi-pipeline pumping system.
